Justin has been with us since Mama Rula first opened her doors, bringing passion and skill to every dish. A master of the grill, he can braai a steak to absolute perfection and is the genius behind our famous T-Bones, a true Mama Rula speciality. His dedication and expertise make every meal an experience our guests won’t forget.

Bonface (Bonnie) –Barman
Bonface, fondly known as Bonnie, is an exceptional barman with a calm and welcoming presence. He always knows exactly when it’s time for a fresh drink and is forever happy to lend a helping hand, making every guest feel relaxed and well cared for.

Ireene – Head Waitress
Ireene is our Head Waitress and the heart of the dining room. She sets the tables with care and ensures everything runs smoothly from the kitchen to the bar, helping create a seamless and enjoyable experience for every guest.

Easter – Chef in Training
Easter is our Chef in Training and is already showing great talent in the kitchen. Always happy to help, she keeps our stores running better than anyone and is a valued part of the Mama Rula team.

Smart (Smartie) – Maintenance
Smartie is our go-to man for everything that needs fixing. A skilled mechanic, plumber, and electrician, he truly is our Mr Fix-It, keeping Mama Rula running smoothly behind the scenes every day.

Filamon – Grounds & Gardens
Filamon keeps our grounds looking as good and green as they do. He runs the rounds with care, tending the gardens and ensuring our campsite stays lush, neat, and welcoming for every guest.

Most of our team comes from Chipata Easter province but a few are from a small village in a very rural area, Chitungulu.
